Kelly McLaughlin - Guitar

Kelly is originally from the great state of Alaska. He has also lived in California and is currently a 13-year resident of the Tacoma area. Kelly's early musical influences included fingerstyle guitar (a la Chet Atkins, Merle Travis), gospel, big band, concert band, and orchestral music. Jazz came later.

Kelly has now been playing guitar for 30 years. Kelly has had a variety of musical training experiences including: Minor in Music (jazz guitar performance) at San Jose State University, private study with Chris Bayman (local professional), private study with Rick Vandiviere (Bay area professional), and a variety of music workshops. Kelly is a school psychologist and works for a local school district.

Denny Foreman - Guitar

Denny is a Chicago native and proud of the blues-tinged musical inclinations that come with a 'windy city' upbringing.  In college back east he played a lot of rock and blues music (to meet girls, what else?)  The Allman Bros., Grateful Dead, the Band, later Steely Dan were all big influences then.  Larry Carlton and Robben Ford still are!

Since the later 90's Denny has devoted much time to serious guitar study including local (Eric Madis) and national (Jody Fischer) workshops and courses.  Great travel excuses!  He also plays some bass and records and arranges music for other local singers and bands, sometimes not so local even...He's lived in the Seattle/Tacoma area for 22 years and recycles constantly. Guitar lessons are available on a limited basis. jdforeman@juno.com

Erin Rice - Vocalist

Erin is currently our "regularly featured" vocalist. Erin has a convincing and powerful delivery as she belts out familiar jazz and blues standards. Erin is a great addition to the band. Come and give her a listen. Surely you'll agree!

Paige Hansen - Vocalist/Keyboards

Paige has been with us from the beginning and we are not letting her go. Currently Paige cannot do every show but we love to have her join us whenever possible. Paige is a great vocalist and a radio personality on the KPLU jazz station.

Russ Harris - Percussion and Harmonica

Russ has been appearing regularly with Two Plus Two for more than three years. He plays blues-twinged harmonica and adds to the rhythmic pulse with conga drums and other percussion tools. Russ really adds to the Two Plus Two sound and is also a great playing partner at various jazz and blues jams.
